Website username / password won't work on this PC

I'm having problems accessing a website with a valid username+password.
I'm using IE on a winxp pc. I don't get a logon error, just a return
to the data entry dialog boxes. I've tried clearing the temp internet
and temp cookies file along with disabling Norton AV. The
username+password works fine when using other pcs. Any ideas what I
might try to get this fixed ? Thanks
 
Hi Jlucas,
Try to assign the website in the Trusted sites in the IE go to Toolsaddress to be trusted, the same in the Privacy Tap go to Sites assign the Web
Address and select Always Allow.
Go to the AV and allow the website there in your Firewall and enable it to
be save.
