And you think you're going to scrape up some business by posting spam for a
group of web development professionals?

T

Tom Willett

Since you didn't snip the original post/URL, they're prone to gain even more
business since you helped them propogate the spam.

And you've added to the thread, bringing more attention to the original
post. (Watch out for that stone-throwing from your glass house!)

You certainly are a piece of work.

He wasn't. You included the original post, Tom snipped it. Someone
reading his post would have to find the References header and follow it
up to find the URL, which most people aren't going to spend the energy
to do.

Do you actually have a clue? Adding to the thread does nothing to propagate
the spam, including it in your reply does. We can only hope that he starts
getting bombarded for including an email address in his post. Hmmm, that
gives me a rather nasty idea :)

Ok. I'll try and not repeat the extremely serious mistake I committed, and
instead, follow your and Tom's examples. :)

In a newsreader, his post appears in the thread just below the original.
But his post doesn't include the spam.

In *your* newsreader. I'd already marked it as read, and I'm only
seeing unread messages--so what I'm seeing is different than what you
are. In fact, for some reason I never saw the original, only your
quoting of it.
