Recently I am receiving one of two errors.
Event ID 7000 "The web Client service failed to start . . . account
specified for this service is different from the account specified"
or
Event ID ?? - similar to > Webclient - specified module can not be found.
The first error is the more recent.
Current setup is my PC connected by cable to a router
laptop connected wirelessly to my network
running McAfee
I have found reference to the svchost service being different on two
machines (.e.g, one Local service and the other netsvc
I have also found reference to a system configuration error "Access
denied" which I receive on startup of the PC.
In Web Client>Log On, the PC is set to 'Local System Account' while the
laptop is set to "NT AUTHORITY/ LocalService" with password
Web Client is currently set to Auto but not started. When I try to
start the service, I get "Error 1079: The account specified for this
service is different from the account specified for other services"
Advice please.
