webcam security software ?

Hi,

I am currently looking a way to use my webcam at home as a means to monitor
my house etc.
Anyone know of anything in the freeware market that could do this?

I've found commercial soluctions that will start recording when motion is
detected and some even let you see this via the web etc....

Pryme is one such program - there are others...try a google group
search on this group using 'webcam' ...it crops up regularly as a
request.

Cheers, I've dl 5 freeware apps now and will hopefully write a report up on
them when evaluated for the group.
