webcam help

is there anyone out there who might be willing to help me
install my webcam... i have tried everything, and just
when i think i have it, it keeps telling me in the device
manager under sound, games, and video that the usb device
driver is not installed. when i click on reinstall driver
it gives me options, and i have tried several----- help
someone, please!!!
