Rick

When I click my internet explorer I automatically go to a
new homepage called searchboxxx(which apearrs to be an
adult search engine). Furthermore, when I try to go to
yahoo or google it forwards me back to this site or even
if I hit the search button at the top of this website. I
do not want to have this website at all and would like to
delete it. Unfortunatley I cannot find out how to get
this site off of my computer. I've tried to restore it
to an earlier date. but it is still there. Also I have
taken previously posted advice and used the websites
listed below. However, the problem still persists. Help
me Please. Thanks, Rick

Any help?

A thought that came to my mind:

Do a search for a file called HOSTS (in XP its under
\windows\system32\drivers\etc but other versions may vary
in location).

Edit the HOSTS file with notepad. See if searchboxx
added in static entries for itself and delete those.
