Hello All

I am exploring for some good web sites available that can provide
different currency exchange rates.

Is there a way we can program the download of these exchange rates
into Excel and MS Access.

Appreciate if you could share the code segment for the same.

Thanks
Belinda

Yes, look into the web query feature of excel. This will allow you t
get web data, I dont believe this is available in access. Record
macro and look at the code it gives you.

Belinda,

I used http://www.oanda.com for foreign exchange. I have *not* used XL's
query to get information from that site, but might be able to look at XL's
help, or if you provide more detail as to which currencies, someone here
might be able to help you with a macro.

I usually print to the screen a CSV version of the historical data, then I
copy and paste it into a txt file, and import the txt file into MS Excel.
It seems more cumbersome than it actually is.

Other sites include:
http://www.x-rates.com/
http://www.exchangerate.com/
http://fx.sauder.ubc.ca/
http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/currencies/fxc.html
http://www.xe.com/
http://www.joelman.com/currency/

I am sure there are more out there.

Hope that gets you started.

Best regards,
Kevin
