Hi,
Yes you can. In fact you don't need to do anything, as long as your site has
at least one link from another site the search engines will find and list
you. The only place you need to submit yourself is www.dmoz.org (free and
well worth the time)
Of course wether your site appears on page one or page 42 for your keywords
is a whole other topic
