web site is being added to favorites

A web site is being added to my favorites list, which I
did not add. I've deleted the shortcut from my favorite
list several times, but it keeps reappearing.

Something must be running to add this favorite to my
list. How can I find out what is causing the website to
be added to my list, and how do I stop it. Must of been
downloaded while surfing the web.
 
Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
