web server for XP Home edition

does the xp home edition have a web server on it. I know you can get it for
xp professional but I can't find any information about it for xp home
edition.

No. You either need to upgrade to XP Professional or acquire a
third-party product like Apache.

There is a way to install IIS from the Windows 2000/NT CD's if you have em.
Look online for the info...

I've not tried this, but it includes a free web server from Microsoft.

And actually, it is IIS on Windows XP Pro has the 10 connection limit.
