Dear all, I have published a discussion web. How can I
ensure that it isn't so huge on smaller screens. I assume
it is to do with my resolution (1600x1200). If this is so
is there a way to stipulate the resolution without
changing my res - or what???? Thanks, Mon

Set it up so the page is about 780 pixels wide and it will be perfect
for 800x600 or higher.

Sorry David, How/where do I set that? (Windows/OfficeXP)
Thanks again Mon

By making your content no wider. Make sure nothing on your page is wider
than 760px.

You create a table to place all your content in. You can set this table to
be 780 or 770 pixels wide (you may want to drop your resolution the first
time when setting it up just to make sure that it sizes nicely) and place
all the content within this.

Hope this helps,

780 is too wide. Depending on the platform/browser, 750 - 760 is more like
it.

There are two basic strategies for coping with differences in browser width:
fixed width layouts and liquid layouts.
