Web Query Historical Stock Quotes

Hello, I know this has been asked before, but not in this way (I think,
search function hasn't yielded anything useful for me).

What I would like to do is use a web query (or multiple queries in
multiple sheets, whatever it takes) to pull historical-to-current stock
quotes. I have no preferences as far as source goes: yahoo finance,
google finance, MSN finance, whatever.

I really appreciate your help!

type IMPORT WEB DATA into help...... I did and I now do it, it
brilliant

I did... but I can only figure out how to get current data with that
not historical data. Any other replies would be greatly appreciated

So, by making an .iqy file with the following:

WEB
1
http://ichart.finance.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=MSFT&a=02&b=13&c=1986&d=06&e=6&f=2006&g=w&ignore=.csv

then I get the historical data. However, it's all going into 1 column
instead of multiple columns. Any help would be appreciated!

you can also use the MetaLib.DLL from http://www.trading-tools.com
An example is included how to download historical stock data from Yahoo
and store the data in Excel.
