Web Posting Wizard

I have a website created in Publisher. Publisher suggests using the Web
Publishing Wizard in Internet Explorer. This has now been incorporated in
XP, but does not work the same way. It only seems to allow hosting by MSN
Groups. If I try to FTP my site, the form I created in Publisher does not
work. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks

You may have better luck posting in the Publisher newsgroup. Here's a
list of all the MS newsgroups: http://aumha.org/nntp.htm

When you post there, make sure you include the version of Publisher you
are using and more details about what fails; "does not work" isn't
precise enough.

In the meantime, check to make sure Publisher has saved your webpage
with the right name for your web host. For instance, perhaps Publisher
saves the file as "Webpage.htm" when your web host needs it to say
"index.html".

Thank you Malke

I will try the Publisher forum. But for clarity, I will outline the
problem, which is that when anyone tries to send the form on my site, an
error message comes up saying the 'file cannot be found WEBBOT-SELF' I have
looked up this response by googling it and I think it is a problem thrown up
by a FrontPage extension that breaks if the site is uploaded using ftp.
Publisher recommends using the Web Publishing facility in Internet Explorer,
but this is not available in XP and the version that is built into XP seems
to work differently. I have installed FrontPage extensions to my site
manager, but this has not helped.
