Web pages on desktop

A tool bar from "portal searching" got downloaded to my c:
drive. Now everytime I click the my computer icon and
clean my hard drive, when I get back to my desktop, I have
web pages displyed. I delete them, but as soon as I
repeat the process above, they reappear. Any Suggestions?

I am having the same problems, PLEASE SOMEBODY OUT THERE
