Web pages not displaying correctly

I am using Windows XP, IE 6. When I open some web pages the pictures aren't
showing and the words are all garbled up. They are running together and some
of the words are printed over top of the pictures that do show up. I have
tried several fixes from troubleshooting on Microsoft but nothing has worked.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. It's a real pain!

Cindy,

I am having the exact same problem...any luck finding out what the issue is?

Thanks

Probably your 'text size' settings (under view) are set to large or
largest.
Check 'medium' or even 'small' and see if that works.

Google pages in small windows are bad for this.

Try pressing F11? (to toggle into Fullscreen mode)
Alternatively try a smaller text size and a larger window size.
