Web PAges not animating

Jake

I have created some PP animated slides and published them
as htm web pages. I then have them linked in Frontpage
and published the entire web site. Some machines can
access the animations and they run fine. Other's can
not. The animations and slides do not appear correctly
and do not run. I published the pages for IE5.0 and
checked the show animations. One test machine has IE6.01
and it will not run on that machine.

It seems it looks for Powerpoint on the local machine,
which I don't want. I wnat everyone to be able to use
the page with animations. Any plug-in or other item they
may be missing?

I don't think you can see animations on the webpage format

I think that this is an individual browser set up option. Your end users that
are using IE should check and see that in the Tools | Internet Options |
Advanced | Multimedia that play animations in WebPages is checked. Also, you
need to ensure that pop ups are allowed for that page. To check it out using
either IE5 or 6 visit www.oldfco.ca/tutorial/pptohtml.html
