Web Mail, set as default

To add Web Mail to your default programs list so you can select it as your
default mail rather than POP3 type:
1. Install Yahoo Messenger 8.1,
2. Go to IE Tools/Options/Programs,
3. Yahoo Mail (web-mail) will now be a choice which you can set for your mail,
4. You can then, if you wish, uninstall Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Toolbar,
5. Web Mail is now your default mail rather than POP3 type mail.

Nice workaround, but isn't this limited to Yahoo webmail only?
It would be nice if this could be adapted for any ISP's webmail.
