web folders

I am having a lot of difficulty creating a web folder so
that I can publish my webiste...can someone please help
me?

The web folder thingy in windows is actually a shortcut to yahoo briefcase
and the msn groups.

If you want to setup a web server you will need to install IIS provided
together with windows.

Hi Jen
Are you using "Add a network place" in My Network Places ?
It's listed on the left in "Network Tasks" provided you have "Show common
tasks in folders" checked in Folder Options.

Guys, IT DOESN'T WORK. It creates a UNC shortcut, NOT a
URL/HTTP one. There's a KB article to that effect, but NO
info ANYWHERE on how to fix it.

Of course, if you want to publish to MSN, it works just
FINE.

SOMEBODY, ANYBODY -- HOW DO YOU FIX THIS?
