Hello all,

I need an opinion.

The challenge given to me is to come up with a good
solution for web content filtering and reporting.

Specifically my boss wants us to have the control to be
able to do the following:

1. Limit, restricit, and monitor Internet usage from all
computers in the company. Report as requested.

2. They want the restritction to be on a user level
regardless of what computer they are on.

3. Time frames for internet usage would be helpful (ie.
lunch etc)

We are thinking about Websense, Surf Control, or some sort
of proxy server.

Can anyone give me any feedback about these choices, and
if there is another choice you could reccomend.. i would
appreciate it.

Posts such as this remind me how glad I am to be self-employed.
What nonsense.

Tell your bosses George Orwell is dead. Also tell them if they
don't trust their employees it's time to find other employees.
