web component: search form

I am using the web component search form on my website, but i would like
to be able to edit the buttons and the form with my style sheets. It doesn't
seem to be working when I create the site within a div tag. I know in
Dreamweaver I can access the form and manipulate it to look the way I want,
but then once I take it back into FrontPage it gets changed again, or it
doesn't work because I didn't publish through FrontPage.
Any suggestions?
I can't imagine there is absolutely no way to create a customized look for
a web component search form.

With any FP component, you are basically limited to the option available in the component's dialog.

Also if you change a FP component outside of FP, then FP will automatically correct it or it just
will no longer work.

You would have use a 3rd party search script or service.
