web cam problem

can't get the web cam working,using XP PRO ,the cam is
brand new "micro innovations IC100c"any body can help?
would be great to actuly benefit from technology for
once.THX

Well does your cam support Win XP

when it says win compatible it should work ,that goes for
every product that passes the compatibality test.so why
it isn't

Does the camera connect to USB port? If so, try disabling USB Unknown Devices: Start > Right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware Tab > Device Manager > Scroll to Universal Serial Bus Controllers > Right click any Unknown Devices > Uninstall > Reboot.
