WEB based access to newsgroups

Although it seems the preffered method to access these newsgroups is to use a
news reader and not the web based access, I prefer web based for now. Here's
my issue: From "SOME" computers in some locations, I can access the
newsgroups fine. However, others cannot. I found if I navigate to the
newsgroups by the following pages:

microsoft.com, support, self support options, MS newsgroups, english, United
States, windows, windows, general discussions, windows xp general
I get the message "Sorry, the page you rrequested is not available"

However if I get to it by:

microsoft.com, communities, newsgroups, windows xp, xp general

It works OK. Notice there is no choice of country after the language in the
second case. The computers which don't work now used to and nothing was
changed.

Use either of the following as your default entry points for web-based
newsgroups, Dave:

http://communities2.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

The sites where you're getting the "not available" error are to be removed
shortly. They use an older format.
