Web Access/Outlook

I am in sales. I access my company email by logging into Microsfot Web
Access. I would much rather use Outlook to get my mail so I can sync with my
card scan and blackberry (through a verison server not blackberry). Is it
possible to view my email through Outlook? My IT department is not able to
help me with this. Thank you for any information you can provide!

We can't help you either. If your IT department only supplies web access to
the Exchange server and will not help, what makes you think we know the
magic words? You will need at the very least the name of the Exchange
Server and your exact mailbox name.

If they won't help you, try going to your manager and explain the
productivity increases you will get using Outlook. If he can't convince the
IT folks to give you direct access to yourExchange mailbox, then give up.

Or look for a less restrictive employer.

OMG! I am laughing but only because you are right - what would make me think
someone as rude sounding as you would have any idea of how to help me. WHy
bother to reply if only to be so rude?

Au contraire - think about what you are asking and then reconsider my
answer.

Where do you work? What is their reason for only giving OWA access to
corporate mail? What is the name of the Exchange server? What are your
user credentials? Do they allow anyone direct access to Exchange? If yes,
then why are they denying it to you?

Do any of us know this? If yes, then I would apply to that person for the
numbers for the next Mega-Millions jackpot.
