WD HD error 207

Today I fired up one on my old PII Win98se computers which has a WD 6.4gig
HD. First boot I got to the win screen and no further. After that I can only
get to the starting windows notice. So I ran WD diag and it returned error
#207- and suggested I call WD! So id the HD dead, and what does this error
mean?
