WD has no "display scan results" option?

Am I missing something or does WD Beta2 not have an option to "display scan
results"?

MSAS Beta1 had this option and I liked being able to see the results of the
previous night's scan... positive feedback which was usually comforting,
i.e. no spyware found.

If I'm right that WD doesn't allow this, I'm puzzled. What's the logic to
removing this option?

Just to clarify, I'm talking about automatic (scheduled) scans which for me
run nightly at 2am. I'm not talking about manual scans.

Anyone want to confirm the obvious, that this feature seems to have been
removed in Beta2?

If any action was taken--i.e. anything found, and you've allowed Defender to
take either the default or specfic actions you've chosen--in general
settings--this would show in History.

If you uncheck the box to "apply actions on detected items"--you will be
presented with a results screen and asked to choose specific actions for
each item found, next time you open Defender--it will show an icon.

I can't recall what happens on the home page if something has been found and
cleaned by the previous scheduled scan--I'm not sure I've seen it.

OK. So I take this as a "yes" to my question of their having removed the
option to always display scan results.

I can see why MS would want to make WD simple and perhaps transparent by
default, but I think it odd that they removed this option when most other
anti-malware programs I've seen can do it, including MSAS Beta1.

Any chance they'd want to hear feedback/request about this?

As I say--I am not sure I've seen what happens when something is detected
and cleaned by a scheduled scan--what shows on the next day--I think I have
a way of testing this--I'll have to see if I can remember to do it.

(So--I'm not completely sure I know the answer to that specific question!)

As to feedback--definitely welcome--and I'm quite sure changes are still
being made to the program.
