We seem to have a newcomer, x486, with 4.35m points and 9.4k results yesterday but these are not included in the totals at the bottom of the chart.

Cruncher x486 is, I believe Feckit's new crunching ID. He unfortunately left PCR a couple of days ago. I'm guessing the numbers are some kind of re-adjustment(?)

I hear Feckit had a falling out with V_R, the second time with this Moderator.
Seems Feckit felt V_R was taking the micky and stirring things up.
The time before this happened Feckit left but came back after second thoughts.
But it seems a dedicated site user with over 12k of posts & cruncher with 4Million + points can be left to leave so easily with no apology from V_R which Feckit might have seem to be the right thing to happen, but no off this user goes?

It's not up to me to draw on how the site is run, as that is up to Ian.
But IF feckit who felt they had been pushed to far had an apology Feckit might come back.
But it seems V_R gets on with life as a moderator and life goes on.

As for this post...if it disappears we all know what is posted is true!!!

Yeah I think that is his new username as he's joined a different team, but I'm not sure what has happened with the stats - perhaps if he has changed username and team it confuses the script we've got running to post the stats. I'll take a look at the code and see what is going on, but it may just take a week of stat posting for the username cache to clear. I'll see what's going on. (edit: I just noticed the date of the thread!).

There's much more to this than meets the eye unfortunately. I can assure you we're not tyrants or a boys only club looking after our own.

Leaving the site was Feckit's choice both times - I deleted his account after getting an e-mail from him. The only people we ban are site spammers. I'm happy to chat about what happened in more detail via PM if you drop me a message.

Ian, I have sent you a reply, but do not think that It will be favorable?

All this could be settled with either V_R making an apology to Feckit, it takes a man to stand up and be counted, but I dont expect this from V_R, who must be laughing at this situation, all very sad and leaves me wondering if I would be better off at a new cyber home too, I might be wrong?

I've got your PM exmoor and I'll reply there in more detail, but this isn't V_R's fault and he certainly isn't laughing about it, quite the opposite - he's actually shown a lot of restraint in no doubt wanting to explain his side of things but remaining quiet so that I can act impartially. There has been a lot of discussion about this and all of the mods/admins are in agreement about what has happened.

I really don't want to have a drawn out discussion about this on the forums, as it creates a really unnerving atmosphere that makes it unpleasant to post in. I'm happy for anyone to drop me a PM and discuss it in more detail - so I'd ask that if anyone has any questions to please PM me rather than post here. There is far more to this than meets the eye and I'm would rather avoid airing dirty laundry in public.

I agree with some parts, but still feel that if you do not control a situation it gets out of hand, this being a case.
Feckit will move on from this and will probably come back to crunching at some stage for the team.

As for V_R, you have your view and Feckit has their's and neither of you will agree.
But, yes voicing strong views on the forum is not the right thing to do.

Thank you however for you reply, comments and views that have been passed on.

And, yes this subject is now closed and will hopefully we can all move on from it
