Hi Bootneck, your comment prompted me to check - to my surprise, nothing was happening here either. When I checked the 'Message@ tab, there are 14 which say: "Message from server: Resent lost task...." (followed by various task IDs.) I sent a work request manually, and after a bit of dithering, I received a batch of work. For some reason though, only 8 tasks are listed... have no idea why the list isn't longer and, don't know why it apparently got 'stuck' either.

All seemed to be well on hubby's computer. Crunching away normally and no odd messages.

Is yours okay now?

By the way, there is going to be server maintenance on Friday 12th Oct., beginning at 15:00 UTC - this is according to WCG website. Linky: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,33957

It's something i need for my job and a good qualification to have in my line of work.

Oh thanks for the info feckit, I suppose you would have to have a licence for that line of work
