Okay, got problems here with vista (who hasn't right?) anyways, the stats are ran on this local vista machine and then copied over to my remote and headless webserver running Win2K AS. When you connect, it asks for the network username and password, and it's this information that it's just not remembering. It will work fine though until this machine is rebooted or hybernated (is that a word?), and then it will ask again- this is fine if you are connecting yourself as it's easy to type it in, but a command script running at 3am has little chance as there is no way to force this username/password information.

I had entered the details in Vista's 'Manage your network Passwords' section of the control panels users section, and I thought this had done the trick, but sadly not :(

Anyways, for the interim, I've set the webserver to run the stats so that should solve the problem, it's not ideal as the webserver is accessable via VNC only, but it's better than nothing :)

Here's the most recent file then, fingers crossed everything will be okay now again...

Seriously though, this really does suck. The whole point of having a tick box for 'remember password' on a network connection was so that it does just that, unfortunately, in Vista that only means for that session only, as soon as you reboot it forgets. About as much use as tits on a fish quite frankly!

There probably is a way around this - I'll do some digging and perhaps when Mucks come online he can suggest something :thumb:
