Morning crunchers, I hope you are keeping safe TC and no flooding where you are

Thanks Bootneck. We have rather a lot of surface water at the moment. The car is standing in a "lake" about 4" deep at the side of our house. At the back, we have another "lake" which is covering a fair bit of the lawn. A fairly deep "pond" has formed at the bottom, where the ground slopes a bit. The darned roof is also leaking (again)... can't seem to solve that one... it's jolly difficult to find the source.

But other than that, the river appears to be staying within its banks... hopefully it will continue to do so, but tbh, it makes me feel a tad uneasy, knowing that it's not very far from us.

How are your dogs enjoying their muddy walkies?

Been dragged out again shopping Tesco more food an alcohol I think anyone would think there was a famine coming. As far as the dogs are concerned TC if I have the car I take them up to a country park called The White Horse Country Park which is on the top of the north Downs outside .Maidstone as the subsoil is chalk and the drainage is good, whereas here we are surrounded with a clay soil which holds the water and the mud clings to their coat especially Brandy as she is a border colley and is a devil to clean. We have many roads with excess water but no likelihood of flooding and the fields are waterlogged and the footpaths are a quagmire. If this continues thend the Weald of Kent and Romney Marsh may suffer but at the moment they are OK. You keep safe TC and don't forget to empty the bucket catching the drips from the roof
