We go up, we go down, but the trend is ALL up.

We are now averaging over 2,000 points each ... now that is quite a big jump.

I'm Back.....

Hi Folks, sorry I haven't been around for a week or so, unfortunately I have had some personal issues to deal with - I'm now back and hopefully things are OK now:thumb:

I can see since my absence that we have really moved on and everyone is racing ahead in the results - great going guys an gals, we should all be very proud of our efforts:)

Can I also add my welcome to cirianz - she has tried persistantly to join the WCG project with us for ages, but unfortunately WCG don't support Macs as yet (and may never do :( ) - however she is madly crunching away for the cause at the Rosetta project - well done Ciri, we're very proud of you!!

Well done Chri.

And well done team.

I'm gonna go hide in the corner because BOINC returned less than 1000 points for me yesterday!

As Mucks has said on many occasions - Boinc tends to go up and down depending on how long the WU's take to validate - its quite usual to get one big day followed my a low day - but as Mucks says, its the daily average thats important, as long as Boinc has increased that - then it is all that matters.

Just for info, I have put Boinc (enhanced with THIS) on my X2 3800+ rig and it has increased its average daily output by over 50% over the WCG Agent

I also use the "enhanced" Windows Boinc version on the MJW pc as it is an AMD64bit ... :D

Be aware however that the Linux version 5.2.14 is NOT compatable with WCG ... use 5.2.13 for Linux, 'cos I know first hand, ok. ;)

Yep, I've noticed he has increased production significantly - all in all I think Boinc - the Windows version anyway! - has been a good change, certainly for higher rated CPU's:thumb:

I would V_R - seems to be stable and works for me:)

Have a look over at the 'maintenance outage' thread for the advice I've given CITech...:thumb:
