Good morning all. Anticipating the delivery of a new washing machine today... fingers crossed.

Hope your delivery goes better than mine did yesterday ... and I have another, different item, being delivered today, from Amazingdotcon ... this is despite asking for "all" items to be delivered together ... was told yesterday they don't deliver on a Bank Holiday, and the 'estimated' delivery for both items was Thursday.

I've looked for an alternative supplier to the other components I'll need for my NEW PC, none available for what I want.

Ooooh @muckshifter... they were telling you porkies. Today, a parcel was delivered from Amazon, (ordered yesterday) by their own delivery courier! It came a couple of hours ago.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, that is very annoying - to say the least.

Oh, and washing machine was delivered to... from a different company, but looks to me as if a lot of places deliver on a bank holiday - probably because it's going to be more convenient for some working folks.

I feel it makes lots of sense for the likes of Amazingdotcon to deliver on a Sunday, you should be sure of the 'customer' being home ... I did get my package today of Windows 7 pro, no problem ... the case, however, has been listed as missing and a refund has been instigated. The 'manager' did indeed phone me today, just over an hour ago, and confirmed the refund as they no longer have any stock of the item I wanted.

I have, I just know I'm going to somehow regret this, just ordered the same specific case off Amazingdotcon, tho it is not from them directly but one of their 'selling partner's'? it'll cost me £2 more.

if you're interested, it's this case ... comments on a £20 and sent to me will all be answered via a £1 coin.
