As i thought that was the ethos of crunching campers?
They never beat the highest score of a cruncher on any site.

The most important thing is crunching, and what it ultimately achieves, not who-holds-which position on the leader-board.

My first goal when I join a team is to help them move up the team ranks and bring renewed interest in crunching for WCG.I think I succeeded.

My second goal is not to bring dissension among team members. Here I failed.I don't want ya'll to loose an established team mate because he has a gripe with me.

I will be taking a leave on Dec 17 for our annual two week Base camp Christmas trek.Might come back,might not.See above.

It is a pleasure to crunch with everybody here!

You should read all the rules of Base Camp.

Special Rule Bending
In spite of having guide lines for most of the things we do in Base Camp, we do take advantage of Special Rule Bending if we feel like it.

I don't for one second think that Ady will be concerned about losing top spot.
He wasn't Crunching for glory, he was Crunching for good.

I actually understand where Feckit is coming from and I respect him for speaking up!

But, whilst I respect his feelings towards the achievements Ady contributed to the Team, I also feel that Ady would not object to such a strong input from a single member.
I actually think he would welcome it.

Feckit, surely you agree that the results are what count at the end of the day, for whatever reason, as the ultimate cause is the same; regardless of how many results, how long crunching for or otherwise?
Analogy - If these were financial donations, would you still feel the same?

Hi folks...just come across this thread, so forgive me for dragging it back up so I could comment.

I have no objection whatsoever to anyone taking the top spot here at PCR....I crunched here for a cause personal to me in the hope I could do some good, I did not do it to be 'top' or any other reason....if had wanted to do that, then why did I also contribute many hundreds of thousands of points to other teams too?

My sole reason was to encourage and help others and 'spread the word'

I know Mike (RAMMIE) from my days at XtremeSystems and he is a top man who I admire greatly for all he is doing for the cause, and all he is doing here at PCR to keep up and stimulate interest.

feckit you are a great member here, and I thank you for your loyalty, but as others have said, it is not important who is top here at PCR - it is the contributions we all make and the fun we have doing it

I have also seen your gracious apology feckit - it takes a good man to admit fault and apologise, well done mate!
