It was only a crappy little 700Mhz P3 or something doing 24/7, but i can see a dent in me returns....

How many units would the laptop return for you V_R? I'm going to ask if I can install BOINC on my uni machine in sept so that should be a few more points for the cause

It was just a little bog standard desktop at work, Spent most of the day doing nothing...

To be fair, i dont think it would have lasted much longer anyway what with the new bigger WU's and low spec....

Was running BOINC, and would kick out between 600-1000ish points a day, depending on validation time....
I installed BOINC on the 30th January and its last return was the 24th July with a total of 89K....Not bad i guess.......

We can but only try ...

Having been down for 3 days, I was down to 1 unit pending Validation on Friday after having 40+ units in the pipeline, and I am back to 22 units in the pipeline this morning. Depending on the luck of the draw I find about 60% of the units take 4 to 5 days to clear.


Good show and a Hearty "Atta Boy and or Atta Girl "to all my team mates as we keep rising up the ranks.
