Sorry for the banner stats thread guys, i'll get it sorted pronto this evening if all goes well and i manage to get my PC going again.

Been busy with stuff, and just got my internet fixed *fingers crossed* by a BT engineer which found the fault to lie with the Sky Digital equipment, so he just unplugged it from the phone line & hey presto... all fixed ;)

So yeah the stats should be back this evening ;)

What did the Sky Digital Equipment have to do with it out of interest?

Watch out Imrie - you will get a £50 fine and a letter if you are still in contract with Sky (i.e haven't had it more than a year or changed your subscription)

If you get Sky + OR Multiroom you will need it permanently plugged in too.

I got the Sky + 160. I was told to keep it plugged in at all times, It also says that in the contract.....

It use's the telephone line to update the EPG Software etc..... :)

Yeah, Chris is right they dont tale too kindly to people unpluging their boxes...

Yeah.

If you are out of contract, however, the equipment is yours, and you can do what you wish with it.

Well i have been told by BT not to plug the Sky into the phone line, if they fine me then they can bugger off...

Anywho i don't actually give a hoot about Sky, it was creating interference on the line which was cutting the ADSL off.
