No.

Same happened here - go to File > Select Computer > in the "Host Name" box tye "localhost" and then a password should automatically appear. Then press OK, Retry communications, and restart BOINC.

Done.

Don't know if this will help, but in boinc manager>options>connections use the 'Use my Local Area(LAN)Connection' if you have an always on broadband connection.....

... I'm not saying anything, nup, not me.

I find a loaded shotgun leaning on the side of the case works wonders ... if you see a slight hickup, pick up the shotgun and the PC will fix itself.

I did give the tower a slight kick when Boinc was down . Hope Brussels dont arrest me for cruelty to PC`s
