Must say, I do like being able to use all the functions I might use firefox more often, although I do like safari better. Get lots more pop ups here than on safari. I thought firefox was suposed to block them? Still, I do like being able to click for effects instead of typing in all the code. Don't suppose you're planning on fixing this for safari anytime soon Ian?

Anyhow... I'm off topic so for me.

Get lots more pop ups here than on safari. I thought firefox was suposed to block them?

You cought my interest ... FF does not have a pop-up stopper built-in, but does not use ActiveX which some pop-ups use ... start a new thread, but I bet it's your OS that is the underlying cause.

I'll see if I can emulate Safari on my machine to test out the site code in it for you

If you can that would be wonderful I have tried a number of other browsers & although firfox would be my second choice safari still comes out a long way ahead. I am playing on firefox now (normally I only use it for work as it is very good for searching) but when I'm back next time it'll be back on safari as usual, even if I do have to type the codes in. I would like to be able to change fonts etc though. Typing in smilies & the like are just a minor itch. But to play around with the fonts, size, colour etc... the coding would take more time than the post itself
