:D we are in the Top Twenty at number Twenty :D

The whole Team can be proud in the fact of where they are today ... there is a whole host of Countries in our rear view mirror, in fact, most of the World is behind us.

Over time we should reach the top fifteen and even the top ten

Not sure, but I would assume so.

I've had alot of problems the last month and my figures have been bad.
My PC had been overhearting and I've suffered a bad, and I mean BAD, phone line.
My connection would just cut off, after about 15 mins, and then it was very difficult to get a dail tone to re-connect.
BT said " It's not your line, it's your BroadBand"
F2s said " The Broadband? rubbish, get back on to BT, it's their line thats at fault"
and round and round it went.

Then last weekend, the line just cleared up, no thanks to BT, they had done nowt.

And it's since then I've used BOINC.
So it's a bit early to say, but if I use other people as example, then things are looking good....I hope!

Damm, thats some bad luck BigJay.

Funny you should say that about the BT line as i had a similar problem about 2 weeks ago. Had a real bad crackling on the line, Phoned BT they said its our phone, then after a bit of gentle persuasion, they decided it was a prob in the exchange. They phoned back 2 days later asking if the line was better. and it was crystal clear! Dont you just love being right!!

Do you know you can 'cache' WU's so you will not have any downtime. :thumb:
My Grid > Device Manager > Devce Profie > Connect to network about every. Change it to 1 day, that should stop you loosing crunching time. :thumb:
Sadly it wont stop you overheating! ;)

Have you 'enhanced' BOINC Yet? ;)
Whats your CPU?

Hope you dont think i is trying to take your job Ady... :)

My pleasure ... I funded the last one ... and I'm a Scot. :p

Double G & T please, loads of lemon, no ice. :thumb:
... and a cherry to, please.

Oh, no problem with BT here, I got their BB so they can't blame anybody but themselves ... and it's all underground, so no poles to water. :)

depends on your system feckit, if you leave it on 24 hours it should crank out a fair amount

feckit, if I remember correctly you have a AMD Athlon 3800+ Venice with 1GB RAM.
That should give you over 1000 points a day running it 24 hours a day on the UD agent - but if you use boinc, and even better - enhanced boinc, then you will get alot more than 1000 a day.

:)
