Setting up a new computer Asus M2N Sli Deluxe with 4 gig of memory. Tried
installing Vista and had lots of strange lockup / reboot / slow response.
Finally checked the Memory voltage and found the system set it to 1.9v and
it should have been 2.1v. Wow what a difference after setting the correct
voltage to the memory. It now runs like a dream not one glitch.

Do you really think Vista knows or cares what you memory voltage is?

Not Vista... But the hardware where Vista runs cares... And if hardware
crashes, Vista crashes...

Exactly, that's why there are newsgroups for hardware issues.
