Wasted Available Physical Mem

I posted this before but there was no real answer.
I would appreciate if some one could help me to learn how
to force windowxp to use all it Physical memory.
Usually, it will stop when it used up to around 1.34 to
1.46 gig of physical memory.
I did tried everything with the virtual memory setting
- System managed size - won't work
- All possible custom size - won't work
- I even set it for " No paging file" - same thing.
WindowXP Pro - No luck
WindowXP Pro SP1a - No luck
WindowXP Pro SP2 - No luck
And I did test all the Mem. Card, they are good.
And they are PC 3200 - 400MHz DDR Dual Channel.
Any idea, any body??

Funny, I always thought Xp uses all the memory available? I know there is a
switch parameter needed to be placed in BOOT.INI (???) which forces XP to
see 4GB of RAM.

First off, Windows will make use of as much memory as it has available
and actually needs. If you have more than 3 GB I think it is, you can
add the /3GB to your options in the boot.ini. Example:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition" /fastdetect /3GB

Thanks guys,
However, no lucks with:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft
Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /3GB

Also,

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft
Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /maxmem=3069

Any other ideas will be appreciated...
