warped photo gallery pics.

When I import pictures to my photo gallery the blown up
picture appears fine on front page preview but warped
when I view the expanded pic on the published web site.

Avoid using the Preview Tab, use the File Menu | Preview in Browser.

IE6 have a function that automatically resizes images to fit the current
browser window, which I think is set as the default and the user must
disable.

Actually, I'm not using IE6 I'm using AOL and Netscape.

Actually this one is the real problem. Also, when I go to
the web page right click the warped picture save it and
open it as a new file on my computer it looks fine.

Your photos are too small to start with, so they are being enlarged, and
that will always cause problems with the quality.

You need to start out with larger photo, say about 300 to 400 pixels wide,
then let FP create the thumbnails, etc.

One last question. Last night I re-did the photo gallery
with new pics. The only changes that I made to a couple of
pictures was that I cropped them. They looked fine on IE6
last night. When I checked this morning they were
uncropped and blurry??????
