Ai is Adobe illustrator not corel. Corel draw can open and creat AI files
though.

Ok, I thought it was made with Corel.
But my question still stands: Is there a way to VIEW an .ai file without
installing Corel or Illustrator ??

I had this, it came along with some corel version, but I did not know it had
a free edition..
