Want to write (C) in a cell - NOT copyright symbol???

Tools > Options > Spelling > AutoCorrect > Autocorrect and remove the
correction

Press Ctrl-Z to change it back after AutoCorrect switches it. Or Edit
the AutoCorrect list to remove it if you never want to use copyright
symbol automatically.
