want to install linux and vista already there

hello sir/madam
i buy a laptop dv6276ea. it has vista home premium already installed. But i
also want to install linux in the same machine. Is it possible with the magic
partition, without problem.
plz guide me in this regards

If you can't work out how to do this, you're not going to do very well
with Linux.

Your Linux installation routine can handle resizing partitions and will
use either LILO or GRUB as a boot manager.
