Want to Delete Reinstallbackups folder contents

I Ghost image my system every few days and do not want to use WinXP Pro's
driver rollback feature. Can I just delete the contents on this folder and
the associated Registry entries at:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Reinstall\nnnn

???
