I'm used to using ClarisWorks or Appleworks, but our district doesn't support
is iny longer. I'm trying to figure out how to use Excel to create my
schedule and lesson plan forms that I use regularly. I can't find easy ways
to copy and paste text boxes to other cells or move text boxes around
accurately. I know I can drag a text box, but that isn't very accurate. On
Appleworks I could use the little arrow keys and be very precise about where
the boxes sat on the chart.

Hi delbrick. If you hold down the control key whille the text box is
selected, you can use the arrow keys to move it. HTH

You can use ctrl-shift and click and drag to copy in the same plane--vertical or
horizontal.

You can use the ctrl-alt and click and drag to copy and snap to a cell's border.

(Drop the ctrl portion if you want to move the object--not copy.)

One the Drawing toolbar, you can click on the Draw icon and see Snap, Nudge,
Align or Distribute, too.

And if you want, you could try John Walkenback's PUP utilities:

In particular:

look for "Object Align, Size & Space"
