wan miniport network monitor

i am unable to install drivers for wan miniport (network monitor)

shows error code 39

what is this network item, how do i fix it?

Go to the Windows Update online site, and let it search for any hardware
drivers your system lacks.

this miniport was installed by a malware. After cleaning this off the system
it went with it and the network bits started working again.
