Is there a way to set your computer so that the mouse
does not trigger your computer to wake-up from Stand-By
mode? Instead, I would like to set it so that you must
press a key from the keyboard to wake up from stand-by.
Thanks...

If your hardware supports the option you can use Device Management (devmgmt.msc) to
specify that the operating system does not come out of standby when you move the
mouse. That is:

- Click Start, click Run, type the following and click OK: devmgmt.msc
- Open the "Mice and other pointing devices" node
- Double-click your mouse and check for a tab labeled "Power Management"
- If this tab is available select it and then uncheck the box "Allow this device to
bring the computer out of standby"
