wab.exe target

When I open the address book from the Outlook toolbar, it uses the Contacts
folder. When I open the address book from the start menu (wab.exe), it uses
my wab file, which is an old unwanted version. Can I get wab.exe to use my
Contacts folder? If so, how? If not, can I sync my wab file to the contacts
folder? If so, how?
Thanx

the wab is a separate file - it has nothing to do with outlook. But you can
hack it.

note that if outlook isn't running when you open the wab after setting this
key, that outlook will run 'hidden' as long as the wab is open.

The wab.exe - windows address book - and contacts are completely
different/seperate.
Contacts are contained in the OL pst file, and can only be accessed by
starting OL, though I recollect you can create a shortcut to open OL in the
Contacts view.
You might be better off simply deleting the shortcut to the wab and using
only OL contacts

Diane,

Thanx a million. It worked like a charm.
