W32Time Error

I have a XP client that appears to lose connectivity or association w/Active
Directory. We are running a single domain environment. I noticed after short
period of time the objects in Active Directory become unavailable. For
example if I create a share on a folder and attempt to assign rights to a
specific user, the objects in our single domain AD environment are not in the
list. The workstation reverts back to its local objects. I have seen the
workstation list objects in AD but again after a while it dis associates
itself from AD. The error is as follows in event log:

The time provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from one or more
time sources, however none of the sources are currently accessible. No
attempt to contact a source will be made for 29 minutes. NtpClient has no
source of accurate time.

Could this have something to do with it?

It probably has nothing to do with the problem but has everything to do with
indicating that there is a connectivity problem with either the client or
the domain. Check the event logs on the workstation and the server to find
further connectivity-related problems.

No messages were generated on the server at 6:01 P.M. I did notice the
following on the client:

6:01:43 PM Userenv Error None 1054 NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Windows cannot
obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (The specified
domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy
processing aborted.
10/6/2005 5:58:47 PM AutoEnrollment Error None 15 N/A Automatic certificate
enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory
(0x8007054b). The specified domain either does not exist or could not be
contacted.

I already disjoined this client from the domain and rejoined. What gives?
Thank you for responding.

Sounds like a DNS issue. Is the client PC configured to use only the domain
DNS for name resolution?
