W32.Welchia virus

W32.Welchia.worm virus occured in my PC which O.S win2000
SP4, so I have installed patch file for this virus , but
massage occuered to prevent installing this patch cause
SP3 should be installed not more . Is this normal?
( i think SP4 contain SP3 also !!! ).
please help?

#1- Try a windows newsgroup
#2- can you uninstall sp4?
